Istanbul-based Turquoise Yachts has unveiled the project of its 56-meter motoryacht, now under construction at the shipyard’s facilities with delivery planned for February 2019. Designed by André Hoek, she is built to be an exploration yacht of the 21st century. Her exterior styling and interior design, created with the latest technology by Hoek Design using CFD software, shows a classic profile with a contemporary twist.
Designated ice-class, she was conceived with the capability to explore Polar Regions and the Northwest Passage. She has optimal sea keeping characteristics and will be equipped with IMO Tier III diesel electric propulsion. She also has generous under-deck storage for two sizeable tenders, state-of –the –art satcom equipment in the domes that are integrated in the compositefunnel, and a large boarding platform integrated in the hull structure with retractable stairs for easy boarding. The yacht is designed with large volumes for comfort and extended cruising.
Her contemporary interior is subtlety classic with teak detailing. Styling is by the Hoek office in cooperation with interior décor by Vickers Studio in the UK. There will be intimate cozy indoor spaces as well as expansive open deck spaces for relaxation. Owners representation and project management is provided by Master Yachts Consultancy
Other projects current construction at the Turkish shipyard: 77M and 74M Project Barracuda.
