[dropcap]N[/dropcap]erea Yacht presented NY24 Deluxe in a new dark bronze livery at Dusseldorf Boat Show. Made with warm and metallic colors, for an extremely elegant and sophisticated look, confirms the will of the shipyard to offer a highly personalized product, a unique made-to-measure piece. NY24 is a boat devoted to exclusivity, refinement, harmony of shapes and colours, richness of materials and high-end finishings, a synthesis that offers a wide customization.
The external layout of the boat presents some new features: the stern sundeck has been expanded increasing the on-board comfort. The new external cushions, covered in clear shades with contrast dark stitching, help to create a pleasant chromatic harmony not only with the warm colors of the teak that covers the entire walkable surfaces and the hull, but also with the new eco-cement by Oltremateria, which covers the table and the hatchway sides in the cockpit.
Designed by the Italian designers Alessio Battistini and Davide Bernardini of ideaeITALIA, the original day cruiser is the quintessence of modern but timeless design, elegance and great liveability able to satisfy, in just 7,35m, the most sophisticated yachtsmen searching for a boat with small dimensions, but which cannot go unnoticed.
The heart of the boat is the living area in the central cockpit: lowering the central table, this space turns into an inviting, extended sunbathing area. The cockpit can be equipped with two drawer refrigerators, a concealed sink and a stove. A very spacious swim platform and the transom on three levels make access very easy. The engine room hatch, with remote electrical opening, makes inspections quite simple. Protection from the sun is granted by a practical bimini top which extends over the entire living area.
The cabin has a large container sofa, an enclosed toilet and a very welcoming environment. Comfort is also given by the audio-video system and the natural light flooding the cabin, thanks to two long windows on the sides and a central glass hatch, with double sliding doors.
A “special-V” shape hull with 18.5° deadrise with lateral planning supports has been developed to offer great comfort thanks to the increased floating surface.
The powerful Volvo engine connected to the duoprop sterndrive installed on the first unit guarantees great performances with a top speed of 39 knots and a comfortable cruising of 30 knots. NY24 is eco-friendly: an auxiliary electric jet propulsion system that allows autonomy for up to an hour of navigation with a maximum speed of 5 knots can be installed. NY24 is also trailerable.
Alongside the Deluxe version, NY24 comes in two new variants: GT and the LIMO.
