[dropcap]M[/dropcap]aybe not only a simple slogan, but reality. “MCY 105, the ultimate expression of the vision and cutting edge technology of Monte Carlo Yachts”, is the pay-off used by the shipyard to introduce their latest jewel, the MCY105, unveiled at a private viewing event in Venice this summer, and presented as world premiere at the latest International Boat Shows in Cannes and Monte Carlo.
At the Invictus Yachts Trophies in Cannes, the new MCY 105 flagship has been recognised as the “Most Innovative” yacht in the 80 – 120′ segment during the “Invictus Yacht Trophies” Awards Gala at the 2015 Cannes Yachting Festival. During the award ceremony on September 12th, 2015, Carla Demaria, President, Monte Carlo Yachts, commented:
“We have worked together with our designers Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard to create something that is quite simply excellent, and we’re proud that the Invictus Yachts Trophies panel has recognised our work with this prestigious distinction.”
Instantly recognisable for its exteriors, the new MCY 105 is not only the largest in the MCY collection, but it also marks also an important chapter in the history of this Franco-Italian company. In designing this new model Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard invested all their talent and experience in creating mega yachts into developing a 32-metre vessel with exclusive features and unique style. The painstaking attention given to proportions, to the dynamism of the lines and to the distribution of light in the interiors, recreate a silhouette that is typical of the MCY range, elegant and with a distinctive layout.
[highlight color=”yellow”]Visiting this new 32m yacht is a continuous surprise, made of pleasure and wonder.[/highlight] The interior spaces onboard the MCY 105 are incredibly voluminous. The large Portuguese deck at the bow, and the flybridge with equipment and living space are unmatched in its class, while the unique and ergonomic Raised Pilot House gives maximum comfort to the [highlight color=”yellow”]master cabin[/highlight] – located on the main deck – that features full beam and giant, full-size windows for fantastic light penetration from the outside.

The master cabin is the core of the beauty of this yacht. Maybe not only an aesthetic aspect, but a new trend in designing open space master suite, with walk-in closet and bathroom only separated by few steps and minimal pieces of furniture, which apparently seems not to protect the need of privacy, but instead, exactly for this unconventional freedom in living the different spaces, enhances the feeling of intimacy.
