[dropcap]W[/dropcap]orldwide renowned boat builder, Grand Banks Yachts Limited announced today its continued presence in Europe by attending Boot Dusseldorf 2015 (17 to 25 January 2015) at Hall 6 – stand C42. After recent strong sales of US stock boats, Grand continues to promote its latest models launched during 2014 – the GB 54 Heritage EU, the GB 55 Aleutian RP and the 43 Heritage EU – the latest debut in Europe at the last Cannes Yachting Festival 2014.

GB 54 HERITAGE EU

GB 54 Heritage EU 54584The largest of the Heritage series fleet, the 54 Heritage EU provides the perfect solution for a couple or family looking for extended cruising capabilities. The 54EU is built on the same highly-acclaimed, GB-designed hull as the 53 Aleutian RP, with its V-drive propulsion system.

The 54EU’s standard three stateroom layout – with its multi-function utility room – offers exceptional living and storage space on the lower deck, plus the option to add crew quarters. The main deck features expansive seating in the salon and fully-covered cockpit, a dedicated dinette across from the mid-ship galley, and a spacious helm area complete with both captain and navigation seats.

GB 43 HERITAGE EU

GB 43 Heritage EU_8990Powered by twin Cummins 600 HP shaft drives, the 43EU is the new successor to GB’s revolutionary 41EU launched 4 years ago.

The 43EU boasts a larger cockpit, a new second head, bigger staterooms, updated interior features, a larger flybridge and more comforts throughout. The 43EU offers performance of pods with traditional shafts allowing for top speeds over 24 knots and confortable cruise speed of 20 knots. At the same time, the 43EU also provides a supremely comfortable and stable ride and slower, displacement-style speeds. Solid performance across a wide speed range is thanks in part to its modified-V hull—the same hull design that gained its predecessor such high marks among owners and critics worldwide.

One of the most unique interior features of the 43EU is a separate utility room that provides a remarkable amount of space for a storage, tool room, pantry, laundry area or other uses that owners can customize to their cruising style.

Exterior spaces are equally generous, with wide 19-inch side decks and a covered cockpit that is now two feet longer than that of its predecessor. Up above, a spectacular flybridge features a generous seating area with an L-settee around a large dining table, a second settee to port, centerline helm seat with room for optional seats on either side, and plenty of space for a sizeable tender and optional hydroelectric davit.

GB 55 ALEUTIAN RP

GB Aleutian 55 RP_9770The all-new 55 Aleutian RP follows in the steps of the acclaimed 53 Aleutian RP, but provides additional room and luxury. Standard layouts include three generous staterooms below deck and an expansive utility room for any cruising need. The two extra feet are readily apparent, from more space in the cockpit and flybridge, added length in the acclaimed utility room, and an all-new dedicated transom locker that will accommodate up to four large 18″ x 29″ (45cm x 73cm) fenders.

The main deck features split entertaining areas; the salon with abundant seating, and the pilothouse for any eating or navigation needs. the 55RP will also feature brand new interior decorations for a fresh look and feel. Other features on board the 55RP will include a second transom door for cockpit access, integrated wing engine control stations, comfortable aft staircase to the flybridge, a large swim platform (that can be equipped with a Sealift tender lift system), and expanded provisions for galley storage and seating.

The 55RP will also boast a progressive, new interior created by Ardeo Design, Inc, that incorporates more materials and textures to create a lighter and warmer interior ambiance.

The standard power offering aboard the 55RP will be twin Cummins QSM11 diesel engines, rated at 715 (mhp), with a projected cruise speed of 20 knots and a max speed of 24 knots. Optional engine offerings will include both Volvo and MAN diesels with horsepower options up to 800 (mhp).
