[dropcap]P[/dropcap]rincess 49 has been presented in Cannes. The latest addition to the Princess Yachts fleet cleverly combines high speed performance with economical seakeeping, fine handling and ease of manoeuvrability. Its uniquely designed hull has been optimised for the latest IPS pod drive system.
For the British shipyard, the Cannes Yachting Festival was also the occasion to introduce the award-winning M Class range, the stunning 30M superyacht and the all-new 75 Motor Yacht.
About the M Class, her elegant and contemporary lines characterize the whole boat with a pleasant level of light and organization of the space. The uninterrupted vistas and vast skylight for star-gazing is one of the main features of this line. The Princess Design Studio has created a sophisticated and contemporary interior concept across the main deck master suite with a unique reverse cabin layout – a rarity on a 30 metre yacht and the first for the M Class range.
The 75 Motor Yacht, highly anticipated and also at her debut in Cannes, shows exquisite exterior styling with new porthole design. The latest modified deep V-hull is designed to plane at lower speeds. Max speed: 35 knots.
Her deck layout provides you with a variety of options to entertain or relax including a walkthrough foredeck with U-shaped seating and sunbathing area.
She’s also sociable whilst underway with seating either side of the upper helm. In addition to panoramic views from the flybridge, the U-shaped seating with dining table, aft sunpad and wetbar provides ample relaxation areas. There is also space aft to fit a crane and store a tender.
Natural light flows in to her main deck through extended window lines and a unique full-height window on the port side to make the free standing dining area a spectacular place to entertain. Sliding glass panels separate the galley from the open-plan living space. Furthermore, the stunning contemporary design of the saloon opens out to the well-equipped cockpit via flush sliding patio doors providing a spacious single entertaining area.
Forward on the lower deck, all three guest cabins are en suite whilst a dedicated staircase leads to the owner’s stateroom amidships via a private lobby area and features a dressing area, en suite bathroom and a 46” television with entertainment system.
