Mid-November Bilgin yachts launched project BILGIN 156, just after the completion of her hull and structure. The boat is now at Kucukcekmece shipyard, for further construction. She is going to be at the Turkish shipyard for further construction process until her delivery in late 2016.
This 47.60m motor yacht is one of three superyachts under construction at Bilgin Yachts. On spec construction of the BILGIN 156 speculative project had begun in February, this year. With exterior styling and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design, H2 created the general arrangement and interior design concept.
The layout adopts a four larger-cabin layout instead of five cabins, with a generous owners suite which also benefits from a hull balcony. The result is spacious accommodation for 12 guests in a highly modern bright interior featuring large windows. Unlike hull number one, the second hull of BILGIN 156 is likely to have a convertible helipad on the upper deck aft section.
Powered by two MTU 12V 2000M 1450hp, she will have a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
