An exclusive look into the monumental zero-emission flagship redefining the rules of the floating residence through radical architecture and curated art.

Stepping into the world of the Q-Line fleet by Ultimate Catamarans is less about entering a yacht and more about embracing a profound design philosophy.
This visionary range of aluminium superyacht catamarans spans from 32 to 62 metres, built entirely on the pioneering idea that the yacht is created around the owner rather than the other way round.
Within this prestigious fleet, the builder’s vision culminates in the magnificent flagship, the Q200, a 62-metre, five-deck “floating island” designed for ultimate long-range living—while the stunning 42-metre Q140 serves as the perfect realization of the bespoke “floating residence” concept, presented on stand QJ17 at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026.

The Luxardo Vision: Sculpting Light and Space
With an imposing 15.5-meter beam, the Q140 is a crowning jewel of the builder’s visionary Q-Line (spanning 32 to 62 meters), all masterfully styled by Italian designer Antonio Luxardo. Luxardo, renowned for his seamless handling of full-custom superyachts above 40 meters, has crafted a silhouette that feels almost ethereal. By replacing structural barriers with expansive, sweeping glazing, he dissolves the traditional boundary between the sanctuary within and the infinite blue outside. Indoor and outdoor spaces flow into one another, creating an environment deeply anchored in emotional luxury.

The Visionary Powerhouse: Ultimate Catamarans as a Brand
As a company, Ultimate Catamarans has established itself as an innovative force in the luxury yachting industry, specifically dedicated to pushing the boundaries of multihull design. The shipyard bridges the gap between commercial-grade aluminum engineering and high-end residential luxury. Driven by a forward-thinking mission, the company focuses exclusively on crafting full-custom superyachts that challenge traditional monohull standards, offering unparalleled stability, eco-conscious efficiency, and immense volume. By collaborating with elite design talents, the brand positions itself not just as a boat builder, but as a creator of highly engineered, tailored maritime estates for the world’s most discerning owners.

The Luxardo Vision: Sculpting Light, Space, and Grandeur
The aesthetic identity of the entire Q-Line fleet comes from the boards of Italian designer Antonio Luxardo, who is responsible for both the exterior and interior design of the whole range. Renowned for his seamless handling of full-custom superyachts above 40 metres, Luxardo has unlocked unprecedented volumes across the fleet. The flagship Q200 delivers an extraordinary 2,258 m² of total guest space (combining 1,378 m² of interior luxury with 880 m² of exterior space), reaching into the territory of many 85–90 metre monohull superyachts).

This same open, architectural freedom defines the 42-metre Q140. Featuring four decks and a beam of 15.50 metres, Luxardo’s design focuses on expansive glazing and a close relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. True to the fleet’s DNA, both the Q140 and the Q200 offer complete customization: layouts, furniture, materials, colours, fabrics, and leathers can be specified entirely to the owner’s individual preferences, including the Q200’s optional private owner’s deck positioned aft of the bridge for absolute privacy.

The Engineering of Quiet
True luxury on board the ammiraglia goes far beyond mere scale; the Q200 masterfully combines responsible technology with an even higher level of comfort and luxury on board. Beneath its striking lines lies an advanced approach to engineering that redefines ocean exploration, utilizing an inherently efficient catamaran hull that naturally reduces the energy required for cruising. As standard, the vessel features an Advanced Hybrid propulsion system that delivers exceptionally smooth, quiet, and efficient voyages. For visionaries looking even further ahead, the experience elevates into an optional Tri-Hybrid architecture, a modular framework that seamlessly integrates highly efficient diesel-electric generators and massive lithium battery banks with marine fuel-cell capabilities.
When running in pure electric mode, this innovative system achieves a true zero-emissions status, eliminating both exhaust fumes and environmental impact while minimizing noise and vibrations to an absolute minimum. This creates the magical sensation of weightlessly gliding through protected marine sanctuaries, bringing the peaceful, unhurried “feeling of a sailing yacht onto a motor yacht.” Prepared to gracefully adapt to future emission restrictions, the final result for the owner is simple yet profound: more silence, more comfort, more freedom, and a superyacht entirely ready for a zero-emission future.
Outdoor areas
The Q-Line philosophy incorporates spacious outdoor areas (800 sqm) to bring you closer to nature; in addition to dining areas, a lounge bars and sunbathing spots, the catamaran features green spaces and two palm trees that rise through its glass-floored decks.

Interior design
Every interior is fully custom-designed around the owner’s individual taste, lifestyle an wishes. From the layout and furniture to materials, colours, fabrics and leathers, every details can be personalised to create a distinctive, confortable and inviting yacht. The result combines timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship, practical use and easy maintenance.
The spacious master cabin (107,8 sqm), enhanced by high-quality finishes, overlooks the sea through large windows. At the entrance, there is an office area facing the large bathroom, followed by a spacious walk-in closet.
A spacious lounge (306 sqm) organized into three main areas: the bar, where you can enjoy aperitifs with a sea view;
the sofa corner, where you can relax while watching a movie; and the dining area. Comfortable furnishings and harmonious materials selected to meet your needs.

Art in Motion: The Dialogue of Space and “Vita”
Nowhere is this design narrative more potent than in the breathtaking, 86-square-meter main saloon. Here, overlooking the shifting currents of the ocean, the architecture intertwines with contemporary art (project Q140). The vessel plays host to a collection of custom works by the celebrated Italian sculptor, painter, and engraver Marcapiano, whose proprietary style, “Animated Figurative Abstract ©”, breathes life into the interior spaces through a direct dialogue with the architectural design.
Serving as the visual heart of the room is Marcapiano’s sculpture, “Vita”. A fluid, ascending creation, “Vita”interacts dynamically with its surroundings. As daylight flows through Luxardo’s expansive windows, the sculpture shifts, revealing new perceptions, textures, and emotional layers under changing lights and viewing angles.
