Just a few days after similar press notes, Overmarine Group has announced today the sale, to a European Owner, of the first Mangusta Oceano 50, a model in the Group’s line of displacement yachts. Delivery is scheduled for 2021.
“The market is beginning to recognise our authoritativeness in the new metal lines too, as proven by the 9 units sold since the first Mangusta Ocean 43 was announced, in 2016, to date. More than that, our reputation is now allowing us to secure sales even when a yacht is still at the project stage” comments Mangusta’s Commercial Director Francesco Frediani. “This year, two yachts were immediately chosen by an Owner simply based on their project: first the Mangusta GranSport 33, which was presented in February and sold shortly later, now the Mangusta Ocean 50, chosen by her Owner-to-be just a few months after her official presentation”.
The Mangusta Oceano line of long-range displacement vessels is characterised by a flawless combination of impressive volumes, classy design, and cutting-edge technology. These yachts were conceived to be dream villas on the sea, harmoniously blending in with the surrounding environment and capable of travelling the world stylishly for 5,000 miles, across all oceans, regardless of the distance or final destination – and, it goes without saying, always ensuring unparalleled comfort.
The Mangusta Oceano 50 has been designed by Alberto Mancini and the Group’s Engineering Department, who have worked closely to optimise indoor and outdoor spaces, remaining with the limit of 500 GT, to create an innovative, original product for this specific market segment.
Guests will find onboard impressively large outdoor areas. The aft cockpit, for example, could easily be the living room of a villa: the sofas are embraced by a teak shell and form a square ring, slightly lower than the side walkways, so as to ensure maximum privacy. Having moved the garage forward, the size of the beach club has increased considerably, resulting in a spacious, fully equipped swimming platform. The bow offers another area featuring highly creative and smart solutions: the wide, streamlined cockpit, which the Owner can furnish to his own taste, is located just over the garage. Once the tender is launched, the garage area can be filled with water to create a counter current swimming pool. A Jacuzzi, in turn, can be enjoyed on the sundeck, where it is located near a dining area seating 12 people sheltered from the sun by a full-beam hard top, and close to a comfy relaxation area.
What makes this model particularly interesting, though, is her layout, which can come in different possible configurations, including the possibility to add a sixth cabin. It is really up to the Owner to choose the way he wants to enjoy life onboard.
Even the smallest details have been devoted painstaking care on the Mangusta Ocean 50, and equally impressive are this yacht’s technical features: fitted with two MTU 12V 2000 M86 engines that will push her to a maximum speed of 16 knots, this craft has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots, which also reflects a strong focus on consumption.
2019 has been a very successful year for Overmarine Group, which has introduced 3 new models in 3 different product lines and has recorded higher sales figures than expected. This year’s accomplishments reward Mangusta’s commercial strategy; indeed, sales have been growing among models belonging to all current product lines: a 33-metre, a 45-metre, and a 54-metre yacht in the Mangusta GranSport fast displacement line (models which, de facto, cut across the entire range), a 43-metre and a 50-metre model in the Mangusta Ocean displacement series, and a more traditional Maxi Open yacht, the Mangusta 110, totalling 260 m in length!
Such a string of successes reflects the high credibility the brand has gained over the years and the soundness and reliability of its products, but also stems from the effective teamwork of a cohesive group of professionals capable of working side by side leading brokerage houses. In this specific case, the Group would like to thank Moran Yacht & Ship for their precious support and for a partnership that has already allowed to achieve excellent results.
