Boot Düsseldorf was the first official stop for the 2020 international tour to promote Marine della Toscana, the consortium created to introduce the Regional marinas and ports on the main international markets. At the international boat show in Germany the new group was introduced to operators thanks to the support of the Tuscany Region, financing the internationalization project.
The consortium has already participated, last November, at ICE exhibition in Vienna for a recon in the world of charters and, after Düsseldorf, the 2020 program includes the participation at the Dubai International Boat Show scheduled on 10th-14th March, to promote the consortium on the Middle East market.
Marine della Toscana will be also protagonist at two international events scheduled in Tuscany next Spring: YARE, the B2C business event dedicated to refit and aftersales in the superyacht sector (March 18th – 20th) and the fourth edition of Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous (28th – 31st May).
The internationalization strategy includes a temporary showroom at the Yacht Club during the next Monaco Yacht Show, promotional materials, a website and a very focused communication campaign. All part of a new strategy to better face the national and international competition.
One of the main objectives is to promote the excellences of the industry abroad, in order to develop an innovative and integrated tourism. A strategy that the Tuscany Region already adopted with integrated promotion project Costa Toscana | Isole Toscane which involves five coastal counties (Massa, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno and Grosseto) and enhances their individual features and uniquenesses, through the definition of thematic and integrated itineraries that makes all year-around tourism possible.
