Don’t miss these yachts at the Fort Lauderdale Int. Boat Show!

Around 1,200 boats are waiting for you at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2017, taking place next week from 1st November for 5 days of pure yachting experiences.

One of the largest yachts on display is the 66metre Feadship Vanish, delivered by in May 2016, with the sporting exterior styling by Harrison Eidsgaard and De Voogt Naval Architects. Like every Feadship, Vanish reflects the wishes and requirements of her owners to an exceptional degree. Highlights on this 66m Feadship include a free-standing staircase flanked by a glass wall over three decks, an ingenious extendable balcony for the owner’s stateroom and a highly innovative transom design.

The 47m custom Motor yacht Book Ends was built by Heesen in Netherlands and delivered to her owner in 2017. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Bannenberg & Rowell.

The 50m S501 motor yacht Vertige was built in 2017 by Tankoa Yachts. Francesco Paszkowski is responsible for her beautiful exterior and interior design. Constructed in aluminium with a full displacement hull, Vertige has a timeless look and includes floor to ceiling windows with cut-out bulwarks for maximum views from within.

The 72.5m Custom motor yacht Cloudbreak was built in 2016 by Abeking & Rasmussen. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Christian Liaigre and her exterior styling is by Espen Oeino.

Home is the 50m custom Motor yacht built by Heesen, delivered to her owner this year. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Cristiano Gatto and the exteriors by Omega Architects. Her lightweight aluminium hull offers superlative performance and efficiency in a luxurious design package under 500 GT. She has a transatlantic range of 3,750 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots. Her top speed of 16.3 knots is remarkable for a displacement yacht of her size. The hybrid propulsion operates near-silent in electric mode. Another innovation is the wide central staircase leading from the generous swim platform to the main deck aft that provides a grand entrance when arriving by tender.

AMELS and DAMEN are showcasing two 55-metre DAMEN Yacht Support vessels: AXIS (ex-FAST & FURIOUS) and NEW FRONTIERS. AXIS and NEW FRONTIERS are both great examples of the exciting new adventure yachting trend taking owners into new territory. Skyler is the third unit of the Benetti Fast range, equipped with an AZP C65 propulsion system, the most technologically advanced on the market, and was delivered to her owner in June 2017. With a length of 38.1m and a beam of 8.3m, built in composites and carbon in Benetti’s Viareggio shipyard, the Fast 125’ is a four deck semi-wide body yacht with a total of 5 cabins. The sporty exterior was designed by Stefano Righini with luxurious interiors designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon, based on the “Air” configuration, one of the three interior style options that Benetti offers to their Fast 125’ owners.

Riva 76 Bahamas features the super cool convertible C-Top that transforms her from an open to a coupe. A carbon fibre hardtop lifts out of the forward cowling, revealing a foredeck seating area, and comes to rest between the windshield and roll bar.

British builder Pearl Yachts will unveil its new flagship yacht at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Featuring a spacious flybridge, oversized windows, a full-beam master, a foredeck lounge and a PWC garage, the Pearl 80 is packed with big-boat amenities.

Adler Suprema designed by Nuvolari Lenard with the aim of re-imagining a flybridge yacht. Adler Yacht is a new Swiss brand, combining German and Austrian engineers with Italian designers and craftsmen. The 23.09 metre Adler Suprema is a lightweight carbon construction with hybrid propulsion, allows silent cruising up to 10 knots, a 28 knot maximum speed (diesel mode) and 50% fuel savings over conventional set-ups.

24m in lenght, Astondoa 80’ Flybridge has been created for the best relaxation, entertainment and social experiences at sea. The fibre glass hull provides a strong yet lightweight structure. Some of the special elements include the flybridge sunroof and the huge windows. It has a large swim platform as well as a garage.
