CRN M/Y 138, the new 62m one-off yacht moves to the next phase of construction

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]talian shipyard CRN has released some new information about the new 62m yacht currently under construction in Ancona, construction site where Ferretti Group has recently concentrated some investments to modernize and expand the existing and new sheds. The CRN 62-metre M/Y 138 is the fruit of a partnership with Dutch design studio Omega Architects, who are shaping her exterior profile, and Italian designers and architects Pulina Exclusive Interiors, who are styling the spaces inside.

CRN is currently putting its energies into building the new hull, whose distinctive flowing, sporty lines form the leitmotif of the concepts developed by Frank Laupman and his Omega team. The yacht is a sublime combination of imposing dimensions embodied in a sleek profile with an array of exquisite yet functional details.

The work in the yard is progressing to schedule. The metal hull and superstructure are complete, and the ship has now been moved to another location for the interior fitting-out, starting with the various systems and equipment (pipes, cables and insulation), before installation of the furnishings and décor begins.

With 4 decks and a subdeck, the layout will feature a double owner’s suite plus 6 cabins on the lower deck, including a VIP cabin, to accommodate up to 16 people on board. The ample dining areas and the indoor and outdoor lounges are ideal places for enjoying relaxing moments in good company, while the generous windows add a real immediacy to the experience of the sea and the coast, in celebration of this new 62-metre vessel’s intrepid explorer spirit.

Besides the 62-metre CRN M/Y 138, the yard is also constructing another 3 fully custom yachts: CRN M/Y 137 (62 m), CRN M/Y 139 (70 m) and CRN M/Y 141 (60 m) together with a 50-metre Riva unit, a Pershing 140 and 18 Custom Line models from 30 to 42 metres in length.
